Leah Pruett’s “Letters From Leah” Series Opens a Personal Window into Life at TSR Nitro

Tony Stewart Racing fans are getting a new behind-the-scenes look at life inside the nitro pits – but this time, it’s personal.

The new “Letters From Leah” series on the TSR Nitro YouTube channel offers a powerful and emotional perspective from NHRA Top Fuel standout Leah Pruett, written for her son, Dominic Stewart. Through a collection of letters recorded in real time, Pruett documents the moments that define life in professional motorsports, the victories, sacrifices, risks and the quiet moments in between, creating a living archive her son can one day look back on.

Episode 1 dives into a pivotal chapter for the Stewart family and the TSR Nitro program. Pruett reflects on the difficult decision to step away from the NHRA Top Fuel cockpit to start a family, while also sharing how the team continued moving forward with the support of Dodge and Stellantis, longtime partners of the TSR Nitro effort.

The episode also captures the moment Tony Stewart steps into the Top Fuel seat, continuing the team’s pursuit of championship success while Pruett begins a new chapter in motherhood.

At its core, “Letters From Leah” is about legacy, a record of the racing life Dominic is growing up inside and the values that fuel the Stewart family’s passion for competition.

And for Pruett, the story is far from finished.

The promise to return to the driver’s seat remains part of the journey, and the letters are just getting started.

Watch Episode 1 and follow along as the “Letters From Leah” series unfolds throughout the season on the TSR Nitro YouTube channel.
