Zdung Ho Sets Then Smashes Dodge Charger SRT® Hellcat World Record

Back in early September, Zdung Ho laid down a 6.981-second pass at 201.81 mph, reclaiming his title for the quickest and fastest Dodge Charger SRT® Hellcat. While we were working on a story about that achievement, the man the SRT Hellcat community knows as “Z” returned to the track – and didn’t just beat his own record, he absolutely crushed it.

On November 21, 2025, Zdung Ho and his bright green Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat ripped off a 6.752 at 194.6 mph. The lower trap speed? He lifted around the 1,000-foot mark. That means this super sedan still has more in the tank.

We’ve featured Zdung Ho and his Charger SRT Hellcat on DodgeGarage before. He’s held the world record for the quickest and fastest SRT Hellcat Charger several times. Most recently, Colby Davis set the bar back in March 2024 with a 7.35 at 186 mph, eventually improving to a 6.984 at 197.1 mph. Zdung Ho edged him out with a 6.981, but his latest 6.752-second pass left no room for debate.

Even with the early lift, Ho’s previous 201.81 mph trap speed shows just how much was left on the table. If he had stayed in it, we’d likely be looking at an even quicker ET and another 200+ mph run. You can watch Zdung Ho’s 6.752 pass here.

If you’re noticing that this isn’t the same Go Mango SRT Hellcat he used in earlier runs – you’re right. This isn’t a new wrap or a respray. Zdung built a new car, buying the green Charger as a roller with a 25.3-certified cage from John Holt Race Cars. His goal? Build something even faster, while continuing to race his original car in the meantime.

Once in his shop, Ho began crafting a machine capable of reaching deep into the sixes. At its core is a 441-cubic-inch billet Noonan Gen3 HEMI® engine from Demon Performance and TKM Performance. It’s topped with ThiTek dry-decked heads and force-fed by a Hellion 78/80 twin-turbo setup. Zdung even fabricated the custom cold side himself.

Boost flows through a non-intercooled Plazmaman intake, and dual ID2600 injectors team with 7/10 GPM electric fuel pumps to deliver VP M1 methanol to the beast. A Nitrous Outlet throttle body plate gives it that extra punch, bringing the estimated output to well over 2,500 horsepower.

Zdung also tunes the car himself and explained his choice of engine management:

“For engine management, I went with FuelTech. It was the easiest and fastest option for me to do on my own. Documentation was good, and it didn’t look like I would need any help to build out my first FuelTech tune. I’m also using a Hardware Electronics PDM25 with a lot of integration and automation built out. Besides the FuelTech V8 Pro harness that I purchased, the rest of the car I wired up myself.”

This 200-mph-capable Charger sends power through a Coan Engineering TH400 XST transmission, with a Driveshaft Shop driveshaft and axles, and an Innovative Solutions 9-inch differential with 3.40 gears. Importantly, the car still runs the stock-style independent rear suspension and a full factory chassis – including the factory metal floor, firewall and untouched front/rear frame rails.

That makes it heavier than most of its competition. On the 6.981 run, the car weighed 3,750 pounds with Ho in the seat. By the 6.752 pass, it had shed 100 pounds.

Putting that power to the pavement is a suspension system that includes Menscer coilovers front and rear, along with “as many AAD suspension parts as I could afford – not all, but lots,” according to Zdung.

Back when he was still racing the Go Mango SRT Hellcat, Bailys Hyperformance helped get the green car ready – handling the wrap, sunroof delete, full Lexan install and plumbing the manual brake system with a TBM F3 4-piston setup on all four corners.

Congratulations to Zdung Ho on once again pushing the limits and resetting the record books. We’re already looking forward to his next full-power pass down the 1,320. There’s clearly more left in it – and another world-record run might be just around the corner.
